No ideology and no dogma of any kind
- Ideology: An ideology is a set of beliefs or philosophies attributed to a person or group of persons, especially as held for reasons that are not purely epistemic, in which "practical elements are as prominent as theoretical ones.
- Dogma: Dogma is a belief or set of beliefs that is accepted by the members of a group without being questioned or doubted.
- You’re ultimately after the highest truth and freeing your mind, the problem with ideology and dogma is that it anchors your mind
- They are like groves that your mind gets stuck in, and it keeps looking at the world through these groves, people that are not like things actually cannot change themselves.
- One simple grounding phrase: Do not be ideologic
Big picture thinking is greater than technological knowledge
- Do you understand what is happening at the highest level instead of what is happening at the technical details?
- Teachers, scientists, and religion are focusing on technical knowledge but have no idea on the big picture, and your life will be miserable.
- Whereas when you focus on nailing the big picture, the technical details don’t really matter if the big picture is followed intelligently.
